'Lovely Runner' Episode 1: Im Sol Becomes Ryu Sun Jae's Fan After Saving Her From Despair

In 2009, Im Sol suffered from an accident, losing the will to live. Then, a coincidental radio call from the rookie idol Ryu Sun Jae completely changed her life. Thanks to his comforting and warm words, Im Sol regained her will and became Sun Jae's passionate fan.

Time passed, and it was 2022, Im Sol lives a challenging life in her thirties, and she is still a fan of Ryu Sun Jae.

She has attended Sun Jae's group concert, Eclipse. She waited for it for a long time and couldn't hide her excitement. However, she received a phone call and said she did not pass the job interview.

She was late for the concert and lost her ticket. Nevertheless, she still sang along the band's songs, playing outside the concert hall.

Im Sol Meets Fateful Encounter With Ryu Sun Jae

On her way home after the concert, she found that her wheelchair was broken and was unable to move on the Hangang Bridge as the snow fell. At that time, Ryu Sun Jae got off from work and on his way home too.

But on her way, her watch fell under the water, and did not make it to the hospital.

Im Sol Time Travels to 2008, Reunites With Ryu Sun Jae

Everyone was saddened by the news of the idol's passing. While Im Sol was crying and in grief, her watch flashed, and the time changed and stopped at 3.

As if led by fate, she traveled back in 2008, when Ryu Sun Jae was still alive.

The 19-year-old Im Sol met Ryu Sun Jae, who was at the swimming practice at that time. She went to him and gave him a tight hug that confused Sun Jae and the people around him.

In the following meeting, Im Sol hugged Sun Jae again and confessed her feelings. She burst out in emotion.

Im Sol didn't realize that she traveled back in time and burst into tears at the happiness she was feeling. It gave her the hope to change Sun Jae's destiny.

When Im Sol saw the bright smile of Ryu Sun Jae, whom she thought she would never see again, she couldn't control her overflowing emotions and cried. On the other hand, Sun Jae saw and approached her. He put his umbrella over her as if to comfort her.
