Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won's tandem in "Queen of Tears" got the viewers excited for their chemistry.

Apart from these two big names, they were joined by talented actors and actresses in the industry, namely Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Lee Joo Bin, Na Young Hee, Kim Jung Nan, Kim Kap Soo, Hwang Young Hee, Jeon Bae Su, Jang Yoon Ju, and more.

With its big and notable stars included in the project, it is indeed an achievement for the team to receive back-to-back wins during the drama's run.

Adding to the drama's interesting narrative are the unexpected cameos of brilliant stars.

Beginning with Oh Jung Se, who played a psychiatrist in episode 1. This was his reunion with former "It's Okay Not to Be Okay" co-star Kim Soo Hyun. Despite his limited appearance, the audience enjoyed the actors' interactions.

Song Joong Ki Cameo as Vincenzo Cassano in 'Queen of Tears'

One of the highly-anticipated cameos was Song Joong Ki's. The top actor appeared in Episode 8 and met the viewers with his iconic role Vincenzo Cassano. He played Hong Hae In's (Kim Ji Won) divorce lawyer.

His short screentime made the viewers nostalgic. Song Joong Ki's appearance was made possible, thanks to the drama's director Kim Hee Won and his former co-star and current labelmate Kim Ji Won.

It was also his reunion with Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won. It can be recalled that the two starred together in "Descendants of the Sun" and "Arthdal Chronicles" Season 1.

'Crash Landing on You' Stars Son Ye Jin, Hyun Bin Receive Special Shoutout

Making the viewers laugh with their unserious characters and hilarious acting are Go Kyu Pil and Lim Chul Soo, who also starred as a partner-crime duo in the writer's work "Crash Landing on You."

Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin also had special shoutouts in the drama's episodes.

Seo Ye Hwa, who was part of the Geumga Plaza in "Vincenzo" also made her cameo in Episode 2.

Adding to the list is Kim Young Min, who played Young Song, an unlicensed marriage counselor. He was in "Crash Landing on You" too!

Lee Ji Hye from "My Liberation Notes" also made a special appearance.

The trio, Hong Jin Kyung, Jo Se Ho, and Nam Chang Hie met the viewers in episode 15, displaying their comedic acting.

"Queen of Tears" concluded with a triumphant finale, boasting its viewership ratings to 24.9 percent, making it the high-rated drama in tvN's history, surpassing the 2020 hit series "Crash Landing on You."
