The funeral for famous martial arts star Norman Chui Siu-keung and his wife was held on October 5 in accordance to Buddhist rites.
The funeral was reportedly held not only by the grieving family and relatives but also by all of the close friends of the late at his heart, as well as by his colleagues.
Chui passed away on September 1 at the age of 74 after battling esophageal cancer. Yuxuan, a dancer from mainland China and 30 years younger than Chui, sadly died from a heart attack just a few days later on September 5.
Because of grief for the loss of her husband, Chui's wife, who was 30 years younger than her spouse, died three weeks afterward. The heart attack overcame the 44-year-old grieving wife while she was in preparations for the funeral of her husband.
Chui's five children held the funeral and organized the memorial service at Universal Funeral in their native city of Hong Kong, birth.
Actress Shirley Yim arrived at the funeral home first, at about 4:30 p.m. on the same day. The actress appeared very depressed and did not even want to talk to the journalists.
The actress and the late star had never married, although their relationship lasted for 17 years.
Chui's relationship with her became known in 1983, and they separated in 1988, leaving Shirley to raise their children by herself.

Many flower baskets were standing along the wall opposite the entrance, alternating with wreaths. There was also a portrait of the couple to the left and right.
In addition to children and colleagues, many other famous people in the world of cinema expressed their condolences, such as Jackie Chan, Emily Wang, Jackie Lui Chung Yin, and Chin Ka Lok.
Actor Danny Lee Sau Yin also spoke in connection with these events."We studied in the same artist training class and have been acquainted for 53 years. He has a good personality.Regardless of his financial situation, he always invites others to eat," he said.
Danny also revealed that two months before Chui's passing, after being diagnosed, he admitted that he did not have pneumonia, but rather cancer of the esophagus. "At the time of his diagnosis, he was already in Beijing and underwent a long period of treatment at the center," he said.
Norman Chui Siu-keung was born in 1950 and starred in the Hong Kong cinema as a famous martial artist.
