The highly anticipated KBS2's 2024 Drama Special series, The History of Us, will hit the screens on November 5, with actors Tang Joon Sang and Nam Da Reum playing the two leads.
The History of Us will begin airing at 10:45 p.m. KST.
The premise for the one-act drama is as follows: two male leads, one as the Crown Prince of Joseon who tries to manipulate history on his own in his favor, and the other as an Inspector who is determined to stop him.
Based on this, it can be assumed that the one-act drama is a political one, concerning the relations between two male leads and being set in ancient Korea.

However, viewing the promotional posters for The History of Us takes a different turn.
Netizens voiced their opinion on the posters under the reddit forum r/KDRAMA. Several Internet users have since raised the question, "Is it going to be a BL?" since the themes of the posters and the plot explanations seem to be at odds with one another, as in the promotional images, we can see the steps of a romantic piece hinted at in the very least.
One user commented, "I'm really intrigued by the posters; they look like they hint at a love story. But then again, is it supposed to be a political drama? I'm not sure what to expect."
Another person commented: "I love both actors, so I'll watch it regardless. But I hope they don't use the romance angle only for the clicks."
