Actress Lee Young Ae recently spoke about her own experience with struggle in TV hosting, confessing that her introverted nature once lost her an emcee position after one episode.

Lee Young Ae and actor Kim Young Kwang were recently complimented on their award-winning acting careers by host Kim Sung Joo on a recent TV show.

"Is your MBTI type I? It's incredible how you can act like that. You both seem to be very shy. Do you get what I'm saying?" Kim asked.

Lee replied by clarifying that her confidence developed over a period of time. "I understand entirely. I can talk this much now because I'm married and have children. I totally understand what you mean," she replied.

Kim further inquired if shyness had ever impacted her career. "I heard you were fired from a show because of your shy personality?" he questioned.

The actress responded honestly. "It's half and half. I was fired once, and there were times when I said I wouldn't be able to do it.

I hosted a talk show once on another network under my name as a pilot program, but it was hard," Lee said.

She continued to explain how difficult it was to host under her own name. "The two MCs here are so amazing.

It's fine when you're immersed in your roles, but it isn't easy when doing it under your own name. That's why I realized this is not for anyone," she explained.

Comforting her, Kim Sung Joo vowed that she would not experience the same level of pressure in today's broadcast. He continued, "We'll make it easy for you today so that you can enjoy your time on the show."

The revelation gave fans a rare glimpse into the personal struggles of the actress, who is known for her iconic roles in both film and television.

Although Lee Young Ae's acting career continues to be revered, her confession highlighted the challenges some artists face when transitioning to other entertainment fields.
