Actress Jeon Hye Bin also claimed she lost approximately 15 million KRW (approximately $10,700 USD) during a family vacation in Bali when her credit card was stolen.
The South Korean actress later reported she had undergone a police investigation with the cooperation of the local authorities.
On October 3, the actress made an announcement on her social media pages. She captioned, "I've received many messages of concern. Thanks to the kind and fair assistance of the Bali police, I was able to complete the investigation safely, and last night we arrived safely at our next destination."
She also expressed her concern about how the burglary could impact Bali's image as a tourist destination.
She stated, "The news has spread widely even within Bali, and I feel sorry if it negatively affected the image of this beautiful place."

In spite of the loss of money, Jeon was upbeat. She went on to say, "What we gained from this experience is greater than what we lost, and it will surely become a special memory for our child. Thank you all for worrying about us."
Allkpop reported that Jeon previously revealed information about the theft while on a trip with her husband and toddler son.
She issued a warning to others by sharing a map of the Ubud area where the incident occurred.
In her post, she explained, "My card was stolen in this area, resulting in a loss of 15 million KRW (about 10,700 USD). Please be careful, those in Ubud and anyone planning to travel there. This happened within 10 minutes of losing the card."
The Chosun Daily reported that the incident raised eyebrows among fans on the web, with numerous sharing how tourists are exposed to danger in populous areas.
The media house added that Jeon's prompt revelation was both an alert and an assurance that she and her family members were safe.
Jeon Hye Bin, who wed a dentist who was two years her senior in 2019, has a single son. She is most popular for her acting roles in Korean dramas and movies and is still active in the show business.
The star highlighted that even though there was the sad case of theft, the safety of her family and the generosity they were shown in Bali left them with a valuable experience.
