Singer and actor Choi Jung Won of the former pop duo UN has been booked for stalking charges.
Allkpop stated that the Seoul Jungbu Police Station confirmed on November 12 that Choi had been transferred to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on suspicion of violating the anti-stalking law.
Police said Choi visited his ex-girlfriend's home on August 16, just days after they broke up, and threatened her. The police subsequently applied for an emergency restraining order against him to keep Choi from approaching within 100 meters of the victim and/or contacting her by phone or electronic communication.
On August 18th, the restraining order was granted by the Seoul Central District Court, two days after the application was filed.

Addressing the allegations, Choi told reporters the situation was misunderstood. "It was a misunderstanding that arose from a personal dispute with my girlfriend," he said.
Police are continuing their investigation into whether Choi's actions have violated the anti-stalking law, and prosecutors will also review the case, according to Chosun Biz.
This case has drawn sartorial focus due to her identity as former K-pop idol and actor, following the focus may raise concerns about accountability and the integrity of personal life in the entertainment industry.
Authorities have urged the public to respect the ongoing investigation and to avoid posting unverified information, stressing the grave nature of stalking allegations and the relevant legal protections that apply to victims.
Further comments beyond his initial statement were not released by Choi's representatives, and an investigation is still ongoing. The prosecutors will decide based on the police presentation of evidence whether to file formal charges or not.
