Actors Kwon Sang-woo and Moon Chae-won talked about their experience of filming the new comedy "Heartman" at the production briefing on December 11 held at Lotte Cinema near Konkuk University in Seoul. Co-stars Park Ji-hwan, Pyo Ji-hoon, and director Choi Won-seop also joined the event.

Kwon Sang-woo, starring as Seung-min, mentioned that the early release in 2026 and the plot are two exciting points of the film. While introducing the project, he revealed that the movie is targeted to make the audiences have fun, confidently saying, I dare say 'Heartman' is more fun than 'Hitman.' Did they film 'Hitman' to film 'Heartman'? "
He also mentioned that acting as a college student and a rock band member was a whole different task that would allow viewers to enjoy the show.
According to Sports. Khan, Moon Chae-won, who plays Seung-min's first love, talked about her role and her personal connection to the character: "I have a job that involves being photographed, but I like taking pictures much more. That's why I personally liked being a photographer. " She shared excitement about how the character let her experience different facets of her personality.

SPOTV News reported that the actors also talked about their on-set collaboration: Kwon first gave praise to Moon's natural acting, saying, "Chae-won herself was so beautiful that I acted instinctively rather than preparing in advance." He then expressed thanks to the co-star Pyo Ji-hoon, mentioning that his energy and ease around the set made ad-libbed scenes create chemistry.
Park Ji-hwan mentioned Kwon as "more lovable, cool, sweet, and unassuming than any other senior I've met," which shows the supportive atmosphere during filming. Moon shared that Kwon was her first male actor crush, and that working him was an inspiring and at the same time, enjoyable experience for her as it allowed her to collaborate with a well-respected senior.
Kwon also reflected on his first impressions of Moon Chae-won, remembering how charming she was and that her portrayal of first love would be poignant with audiences. He added that the film would be effective in bringing out her beauty and talent.
"Heartman" is set to be released on 14 January 2026, and the production team hopes that it will be full of humour, warmth, and engaging performances for its early 2026 audiences.
