They have demonstrated their familial bond and shared some of their personal lives through various media. The two, whose looks were likened to those of BTS member V by netizens, created content that was a mix of cooking, talking, and product placement, giving fans a glimpse into their relationship.

The video features the Lunar New Year dumpling-making activity at home and was uploaded on Monday on Ryu Jin's YouTube channel "The Most (Coolest) Ryu Jin." The video quickly went viral for its laid-back atmosphere and the natural chemistry between mother and son, as well as Ryu Jin's candid comments about paid advertising featuring family members.

Ryu Jin introduced the topic of the video by explaining the occasion. He said, "Today, I made dumplings with my own hands with my beloved youngest Chan-ho." Ryu Jin also called Chan-ho his "number one treasure," emphasizing the relationship-based theme of the video, as reported by TenAsia.

Despite it being his first attempt, Chan-ho leaned into the moment with humor as he appeared on camera as the main cook. As he worked, he said, "Dad, you have to teach me," drawing laughter from viewers and from Ryu Jin himself, TenAsia reported.

Later in the video, Ryu Jin spoke openly about advertisements filmed with his son. He said, "I got an ad a year ago. I was touched that it was a PPL with Chan Ho, but I got another ad today too." Chan-ho reacted with visible awkwardness to the discussion of sponsored content, a moment that resonated with audiences, according to Naver coverage.

Reflecting on how things have changed, Ryu Jin addressed compensation directly. He said, "In the past, Chan Ho helped his dad for free, but now the unit price has increased," before adding that "part of the income goes to Chan Ho's allowance," a comment that added to the video's lighthearted appeal, TenAsia noted.

The pair's playful exchanges continued as they tasted food and discussed television preferences. During one exchange about pickled vegetables, Ryu Jin quietly nudged him son's response, whispering, "They say this is better," prompting laughter. Chan-ho also shared his interest in the variety show "Solo Hell," saying, "My wish is to be an MC on that show. I want to know everything about that program," according to Naver.

The episode ended with more parental teasing and affection, while Ryu Jin remained in the spotlight for family news beyond YouTube. He recently made headlines after announcing that his eldest son, Im Chan-hyung, had been accepted to Berklee College of Music in the United States.
