BIGBANG TOP-Jo Sung Ha Casted For Spy Film ‘Alumnus’
Big Bang's TOP and actor Jo Sung Ha joined the cast for spy film 'Alumnus.'
According to a film representative on the 7th, "TOP and Jo Sung Ha have recently confirmed and completed the appearance agreement."
Continuing, "We will begin filming at the beginning of next month and plan to film over approximately three months. We've just finished our first script reading." The two will both play spies sent by the North to the South.
This will be TOP's second film, following 'Into the Fire' in which he displayed impressive acting. The fact that he chose to appear in a spy film, among the many offers he received, is particularly interesting.
'Alumnus' is the story of the son (TOP) of a North Korean spy who died under a false accusation, and his duty to kill a South Korean spy in order to save his younger sister's life.
Director Park Shin Woo of Han Suk Kyu, Son Ye Jin, and Go Soo's 'White Night' will direct the film and Showbox will assume the distribution. The film is aimed to release in the second half of this year with production costs of approximately 40 billion won.
