‘Arang’ Lee Jun Ki-Shin Min Ah, First Filming Success
The first filming site of 2012's most anticipated drama 'Arang' was revealed.
On the 23rd, 'baby couple' Lee Jun Ki and Shin Min Ah of MBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Arang' taped their first meeting at the rooftop of a street in the town.
Shin Min Ah, who plays reckless maiden ghost Arang, climbed on the roof of buildings and at the top of trees for her role during this first filming. Shin Min Ah's first mission was to climb the roof of a thatched house to oversee Eun Oh (Lee Jun Ki)'s every move.
Shin Min Ah filmed enjoyably and without complaint despite the heat from a summer day's sun and constantly climbing a ladder to reach the roof. Even with Director Kim Sang Ho's okay sign for a scene, Shin Min Ah requested, "I'm a bit disappointed, let's shoot it one more time," as male staff members worried for her skin.
Furthermore, Lee Jun Ki, who plays magistrate Eun Oh, created laughter with his sly acting.
Director Kim Sang Ho commented on the first filming, "I don't ask much of the actors. I just tell them to always act as if it's their first time. Above all, being careful of water and driving is the most important."
