Jun Ji Hyun "As Soon As I Read About Yenycall, It's A GO!"

In the upcoming move 'The Thieves' Jun Ji Hyun takes on the role of Yenycall who says 'yes' to any type of thieving that calls her.

In this movie Jun Ji Hyun shows her previous 10 years ago self, with the long straight hair and skinny fit body but also shows a more rough side to her and an upgraded charm.

Jun Ji Hyun stated "As soon as I saw and read about the character Yenycall, 'no more eating, it's a go!.'"

"As soon as I read the scenario, I thought it was really funny, and there was no boring parts to it. I love the charm the character Yenycall gave off. I loved it to a point where I constantly thought about how I would liven up the script and lines. So that's when I decided I don't care if I can't eat, it's a go."

"It's been a while since I have done a Korean film. I've been doing films overseas for a while. So the movie 'The Thieves' was a movie that just 'stuck' to me and I had a good feeling about it. I kept thinking 'I wonder how the audience would react' and when I thought about working with Director Choi Dong Hoon and so many senior actors, I just knew it was going to be a hit."

"I had a lot of lines to memorize but it just came out naturally and I remembered it easily. The director and I had a one on one script practice and he helped me build the character from scratch."
