For a long time Kim Hae Sook has received love from the audience as the all Korean mother. But this time, Kim Hae Sook will be participating as the cast of the movie 'The Thieves' as a thief who has amazing acting skills.

Her character's nickname is Chewed Gum. With just the name her character leaves a very big impression.

Director Choi Dong Hoon has stated "I wanted a character that helped speed up the scenes in the movie. And that was the character Chewed Gum. I decided I wanted this character as a mid 50s character. I loved working with Kim Hae Sook because even though she's been acting for 30 years, she's still willing to try out so many new things. She also has a romance line with the character Chen in the movie, but even though the movie doesn't strongly show their romance line I want people to pay attention to the two."
