'Masquerade' is now in the top ten for biggest box office hits. It surpassed the movie 'Friend' with 8.18 million on the 8th and then went on to pass the 8th place movie 'D-War' with 8.42 million on the 10th.

'Masquerade' maintained an average of selling 100,000 tickets during the weekday to continue towards the 10 million mark. There is high anticipation for the movie to be the second one to pass 10 million after 'Thieves' this year.

Currently, the overall box office standings for the 1st to 7th movies is as follows: 'Avatar' (13.35 million), 'Thieves' (13.02 million), 'The Host' (13.01 million), 'The King And The Clown' (12.3 million), 'Taegukgi' (11.74 million), 'Haeundae' (11.39 million), and 'Silmido' (11.08). It will be interesting to see how high 'Masquerade' will get.
