Recently she shared on her Instagram account a picture of herself with two of her friends, holding onto surfing boards on a beach. Along with the picture, she said, "Surfing in a long time." In related news, Yano Shiho was nominated for 2014 KBS Entertainment Award. Her daughter Choo Sarang was nominated for KBS Entertainment Award and got on stage with Choo Sung Hoon.
