‘Kangnam 1970’ Kim Rae Won loses 30lbs for film

Actor Kim Rae Won shared that he lost 15kgs, which is approximately 30lbs, at the press release of his upcoming film 'Kangnam 1970.'

Director Yoo Ha, along with the actors and actresses who star in the film, attended the press release of 'Kangnam 1970,' and shared their thoughts on the film. On this day, actor Kim Rae Won shared his thoughts on his character and the film. Kim Rae Won said on this day that he lost 15kgs to film his character on 'Kangnam 1970,' who is a sharp guy. He explained that he had to lose weight for the action scenes in the film. He also said regarding his character, "There has been some scenes that were mentally painful to film, such as murder scenes. I wonder how these scenes were portrayed in the film, and how the audiences would perceive these scenes." In related news, 'Kangnam 1970' is Lee Min Ho's debut film. It is an action noir movie based on the realities of Kangnam, a district of Seoul, in the 1970s. It tells a story of the development of Seoul in the 1970s, and will premiere on January 21, 2015, in Korea.
