‘Chronicle of a Blood Merchant’ Ha Jung Woo Compliments Ha Ji Won

Actor and director Ha Jung Woo on a recent interview acknowledged actress Ha Ji Won's role in their recently premiered film 'Chronicle of a Blood Merchant.' On Tuesday, actor and director Ha Jung Woo said on actress Ha Ji Won, "Her character is very difficult to play, and actress Ha Ji Won did a great job centering the story around her character." He added on playing a father of three and husband of actress Ha Ji Won's character, "I focused on my character Huh Sam Guan more as a man than a father or husband. Although I am not married and doesn't know what father's love is like, I tried to do my best to portray that feeling." In related news, actor and director Ha Jung Woo's recently premiered film "Chronicle of a Blood Merchant" with actress Ha Ji Won tells a story of a blood merchant, played by director Ha Jung Woo, and features actress Ha Ji Won as his wife, and actress Yoon Eun Hye as the woman he has an affair with. The movie chronicles the blood merchant's responsibility as a father in an ancient patriarchal Chinese society, and the wife's suffering as a woman in love and a mother. The film premiered on January 15, 2015, in Korea.
