Hallyu star Lee Min Ho in a recent interview discussed his career as an actor and his action noir film 'Kangnam 1970,' which premiered on January 21, 2015, in Korea.
Actor Lee Min Ho said that at first he was not attracted to Jong Dae, the character he plays in 'Kangnam 1970.' "Character Jong Dae is a man who suppresses his feelings, and I thought this could feel very frustrated. I thought of him as more passive than active, so I did not feel attracted to the character. But director Yoo Ha said if Jong Dae becomes more brave, then the film will be just like 'A Dirty Carnival,' and I agreed," Lee Min Ho said.
