Eight cast members of the film "Parasite" to attend The 92nd Annual Academy Awards In Los Angeles! On February 4, 2020, it was confirmed that all of the main characters or cast of the film "Parasite," including the famous director Bong Joon Ho will be present in attending the 92nd Annual Academy Awards in the city of Los Angeles, California.

The director of the film Bong Joon Ho as well as actress Jo Yeo Jung, and Lee Jung Eun are in the United States as of the moment. Meanwhile, Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Gyun, Park So Dam, Jang Hye Jin, and Park Myung Hoon altogether will leave for Los Angeles between the dates of February 7 and 8. But actor Choi Woo Shik who is the last of the main cast is set to arrive late in Los Angeles since he plans to leave Korea on February 9 and will arrive the morning in time for the awards ceremony.

The most talked-about film right now "Parasite" is nominated for six awards, including Best Picture, Original Screenplay, Directing, Film Editing, Production Design, and International Feature film. It is considered to be the first-ever Korean film to receive a nomination for Best Picture as well as Bong Joon Ho who is the ever Korean director to receive an Oscar nomination. And we are so proud of this. The ceremony of 92nd Annual Academy Awards will be held on February 9 at 5 p.m. PST which is February 10 at 10 a.m. KST.

The most popular film "Parasite" is a South Korean black comedy thriller film helmed by famous director Bong Joon-ho. He also penned the story and co-wrote the screenplay with Han Jin-won. The cast of this fils includes Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik, and Park So-dam. It tells the story of the members of a poor household who scheme to become employed by a rich and wealthy family by penetrating the household and posing as unrelated, highly qualified individuals.

Last May 21, 2019, "Parasite" was premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. It was considered as the first Korean film to win the Palme d'Or and also was the first Korean film to win with a unanimous vote since 2013's Blue Is the Warmest Colour. Then on May 30, 2019, it was then released in South Korea exclusively by CJ Entertainment. It was admired and tagged as one of the greatest South Korean films ever made and one of the best films of the 2010s. It was reported to have grossed around $165.4 million worldwide so far and this became the highest-grossing release and also the third highest-grossing film in South Korea.

"Parasite" is currently the most talked-about Korean film in the industry given that it has gained numerous awards and with six nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best International Feature Film, making "Parasite" the first-ever South Korean film to receive Academy Award recognition. Not to mention that in the 77th Golden Globe Awards, it also took home the award for Best Foreign Language Film. In the 73rd British Academy Film Awards it received four nominations and was awarded the Best Film Not in the English Language and Best Original Screenplay. "Parasite" also became the first non-English film to win the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
