While hosting Inkigayo, actress Song Ji Hyo was asked by Myeok PD to join the urban variety show "Running Man" that had been running since 2010. From episode two to five, she appeared as a guest and became a regular in episode six.

In an interview, Song Ji Hyo shared her thoughts on marriage and the variety show "Running Man."

Now, the actress is in her late thirties and confessed that she does not put much importance on the concept of age and she is completely happy with where she is and what she has right now. She added that the only hard part about becoming forty is that the recovery rate is slower.

Right now, she feels she can do more things and feel things that she hasn't been able to feel. She continued to challenge herself to do it and think about it and she likes herself even more as of the moment.

Korea is still practicing a conservative culture where women should get married at the age of thirty. When the actress was asked about her plans of tying the knot, she admitted that she has no plans to get married yet. Song Ji Hyo revealed that she still finds it hard to take care of herself, which will be hard for her to take care of someone else.

The actress also stated that she is fine with her current lifestyle, adding that, unless someone comes along and changes her mind, she might consider getting married. But as of the moment, the actress is very happy and she just loves being with her dog.

To conclude, Song Ji Hyo is having the time of her stress-free life and singlehood. Not only her but there are also a lot of women in the industry who choose to be single even if they are in their late forties.

Song Ji Hyo has been on "Running Man" for ten years, and she has done so much running that her knees constantly hurt. The variety program requires rigorous activities for the majority of the time.

According to the cast of "Running Man," they may seem healthy, but their bodies have been overused over the years. Injuries happen, like torn ligaments on their ankles and shoulders, and since it is a variety show, they have no time to rest and recover.

Song Ji Hyo then concluded the interview about her thoughts on "Running Man" and on how she would spend her forties.

"I'm not usually the one to think about these things, but as I end my 30s, I wonder how I'll be spending my 40s. Even if I'm not filming 'Running Man' in my 40s, I believe I'll be working hard on something else," she confessed.

The actress has been living the life she wanted, and no one can take it from her. She may be approaching her forties, but the happiness and satisfaction with her life and career are undeniable.

Rock on, Song Ji Hyo!
