Park Ji Hoon To Star In The Upcoming Webtoon-Based "Love Revolution"
It has been recently confirmed that Park Ji Hoon will be the star of the new drama adaptation of the webtoon, "Love Revolution!"
On June 5, Kakao M confirmed that Park Ji Hoon will be portraying the character Gong Joo Young, a person who is sweet and has a pure heart. Based on the webtoon with the same title, "Love Revolution" is a romantic and unique story about teens who experience love, friendship, and the trials and tribulations of high school students.
The story revolves mainly on Gong Joo Young, an adorable and endearing student who falls in love with a girl named Wang Ja Rim, an aloof and is quite a popular student in their high school.
Head over heels for Wang Ja Rim, Gong Joo Young does not have a pinch of shyness in him. He confidently proclaims his love for Wang Ja Rim and will do anything to win her over. However, Gong Joo Young's loyalty is not to be questioned because, despite him being sweet and joyful, he can be tough and serious when his friends are in any kind of trouble. If this does not define the perfect and ideal guy, then we don't know what it is!
According to a representative from Kakao M, the team behind the webtoon adaptation plans to fill the drama with teens' stories and their experiences with love, friendship, and the problems that they experience. The drama will hold a plot that strongly tells the teenagers' perspective towards life, especially in the modern day.
A lot of viewers on the younger side of the demographic ought to look out for the "Love Revolution." It will surely be one of the dramas where several teenagers relate to most of the stories that the drama will bring!
The team also asks to watch out for Park Ji Hoon's transformation in this new project. The idol-actor has already proven his skills in the acting arena, such as in "Jumong," "The Stories of a Thousand People," "Kimchee Cheese Smile," "The King and I," "lljimae," "The Unlimited Show," and "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency."
