JTBC, KeyEast, and Playlist Studio have confirmed on June 26 that NU'EST's Minhyun and Jung Da Bin will be starring in their latest drama, "Live On" (working title), written by screenwriter Bang Yoo Joon and directed by Kim Sang Woo. The show will be aired in the latter part of 2020.

"Live On" is a high school romance drama that tells the story of Baek Ho Rang (Da Bin), a student described as the most popular girl in her school, who joined the broadcasting club. In effect, she meets Go Eun Taek (Minhyun), the head of the club known to be an idealist.

Baek Ho Rang joins the org to find the help she needs to identify someone who's trying to unravel her hidden past and stop the person from doing so.

Baek Ho Rang is described as the girl who, though she's on top of the social media rankings and considered a star, only has one friend due to her condescending nature.

Meanwhile, Go Eun Taek is the polar opposite. He's seen to be irritable and is fixated on making sure his plans are perfect. He is also known to be a strict leader who does not shy away from new challenges, thus loved by his peers.

The drama will be Jung Da Bin's latest project after her successful run in "Extracurricular" and is known for bringing life into her past characters.

As for Minhyun, this will be his debut drama after debuting under NU'EST in 2012. Other idols such as VICTON's Byungchan and Yeonwoo may be part of the cast, and Noh Jong Hyun is considering the offer to participate as well.

With the drama having a star-packed cast, what are your expectations for the upcoming drama?
