Yoon Kye Sang to Possibly Star Alongside Seo Hyun Jin in a New Drama
"Flying Boys" actor Yoon Kye Sang may star alongside "Another Oh Hae Young" star Seo Hyun Jin in a new drama, and we are all excited!
On Friday, Nov. 13, media outlets reported that Yoon Kye Sang received an offer to star as the male lead in the upcoming drama titled "You Are My Spring." Upon hearing this news, Yoon Kye Sang's agent immediately confirmed that the actor did receive the offer to star in the drama. However, they clarified that this offer is still under discussion, and nothing has been decided yet.
Yoon Kye Sang is said to play the character of Joo Young Do in the drama. He is a psychiatrist who guides people as they heal through their emotional scars and find the motivation to live. However, what people don't know is that he has his own emotional wounds to heal as well. It all started when he was not able to save his older brother and one of his patients.
"You Are My Spring" will center its story on three adults who live their lives with seven-year-old kids in their hearts. The characters are all held back by the keyword "salvation." The said drama will be helmed by the producing director (P.D.) Jung Ji Hyun, who also brought to life the dramas "Mr. Sunshine," "Search: W.W.W.," and "The King: Eternal Monarch."
Seo Hyun Jin is also in talks to portray the female lead of the drama "You Are My Spring," which is slated to premiere sometime in the first half of 2021.
South Korean actor and singer Yoon Kye Sang was born on December 20, 1978. He started his career in the entertainment industry as a part of the K-pop boy band g.o.d in 1999. However, he left the group in 2004 and started to take on an acting career.
Yoon Kye Sang debuted as an actor through the film "Flying Boys" (2004), where he received the Best New Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Since then, the idol-turned-actor became active in both television and film, playing leading roles in some of the most popular romantic comedies of all time such as "My 19 Year Old Sister-in-Law" (2004), "Who Are You?" (2008), the melodrama "Crazy for You" (2007), "The Moonlight of Seoul" (2008), and "The Executioner" (2009).
Meanwhile, South Korean actress and singer Seo Hyun Jin was born on February 27, 1985. The 35-year-old actress debuted as the main vocalist of South Korean girl group M.I.L.K. She then pursued her acting career through the musical "The Sound of Music" (2006).
Following this, the celebrity made several appearances in both television series and films. Seo Hyun Jin is widely recognized for her portrayal in the medical melodrama "Dr. Romantic" (2016-2017) and romance dramas "Another Oh Hae Young" (2015), "Temperature of Love" (2017) and "The Beauty Inside" (2018).
