‘True Beauty’ Releases Stills Featuring ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeob’s Intense Encounter
The soon-to-premier tvN drama "True Beauty" has unveiled a sneak peek of ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeob's intense chemistry!
"True Beauty" is a romantic comedy series that is based on the hit webtoon with the same title. The drama will tell the story of Lim Ju Gyeong, starred by Moon Ga Young, who's insecure with her physical appearance and uses her makeup skills to feel confident. When she applies her makeup, she instantly looks like a goddess.
She will be entangled with two characters, Lee Su Ho, portrayed by Cha Eun Woo, a handsome guy and a famous student in school. He may seem cold outside because of his emotional scar, but he's actually very kind and shy at times. The other one is Han Seo Jun starred by Hwang In Yeob, who is an untamable rebel but surprisingly has a warm heart. He got involved with Lim Ju Gyeong because of some unfortunate events and falls in love with her.
Both Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun are the top two best-looking guys in school. In the newly released stills, the two characters display an intense encounter.
In the first photo, Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) is seen observing a schoolmate as he arrives in school riding a motorcycle. The student was unrecognizable since he is wearing his helmet, when he took it off, it was revealed to be Han Seo Jun. He then looks at him with a striking expression.
Another photo exhibits Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeob) staring back at Lee Su Ho with his fierce gaze. The viewers can feel the intense chemistry of Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) and Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeob).
Looking at how they interacted with each other, it seems like the two of them won't be getting along well in the drama. Han Seo Jun's anger towards Lee Su Ho is evident through his cold expression.
The two characters have opposite personalities and auras. Lee Su Ho is a model student who doesn't express his feeling while Han Seo Jun exudes a rebellious charm and can show everyone how he exactly feels. Now, the viewers are even more curious to find out the reason behind their strained relationship.
"True Beauty" is one of the most-anticipated webtoon adaptations to drama to be released this year. The webtoon has plenty of fans all over the world and they are very excited about the release of its drama. It is helmed by Director Kim Sang Hyub and penned by writer Lee Si Eun.
The drama is scheduled to broadcast on December 9 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will air with English subtitles via Viki (online streaming site).
