Fire Broke Out in the Filming Set of the Upcoming Netflix Series 'Kingdom 3'
The third season for the upcoming Netflix series "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" has finally started filming!
Avid viewers of the hit Korean series "Kingdom" are now looking forward to watching its new season, but amidst the filming of the said show, an unexpected incident happened. On Jan. 7, it was reported that a fire broke out on the filming set of Netflix series's "Kingdom 3." The incident occurred at Gaeun Open Set located in the Province of North Gyeongsang.
The fire started to arise at 1:42 P.M (KST), but in just an hour it was completely extinguished with the help of the staff and crew. It has been said that the cause of fire is when a staff member of the drama attempted to melt down the snow using a torch lamp.
Meanwhile, following the incident, a representative from the drama production explained what really happened, "The fire broke out during the operation of melting the snow, but we feel relieved that no one from the cast and staff was injured. After thorough inspection of the set, we decided to resume the shooting. We will do our best to ensure safety on set."
In addition, the finishing materials on the outer walls of the castle was the first one to be in flame and it caused the wood on the inside to burn too. Also, some parts of the castle were demolished while in the process of putting the fire down. To ensure safety, there were nine firetrucks present in the set. After everything was back to normal, the shoot resumed.
Meanwhile, "Kingdom 3" is scheduled to air this year. It was originally scheduled to premiere last year but due to the pandemic, the filming of the series was put on hold.

The third season of "Kindgom" is already gaining a lot of attention from the global audience. It was also confirmed that actress Jun Ji Hyun will be appearing in its new season and will be playing the character of Gianna Jun.
Viewers and fans of the series can't wait to see the drama's changes and how the story will unfold. They are also anticipating the character of Gianna Jun, and are thrilled to see the original cast once again, including Ju Ji Hoon, Bae Doo Na, Ryu Seung Ryong, Kim Sung Kyu, and Jeon Seok Ho.
