Are you ready for more exciting days and months ahead? Netflix got you! This year will be full of intense and fun series that only the platform giant can bring. 

In a recent special event hosted by Netflix on Feb. 25 - "See What's Next Korea 2021" - these are the much-awaited Korean films and TV shows expected to air anytime soon this year.

First on the list is the much-awaited space K-drama, starring "Goblin" actor Gong Yoo, "Kingdom" actress Bae Doona, and idol-turned-actor Lee Joon.

The airing schedule of the forthcoming sci-fi series is yet to be announced.

Another webtoon-based series, "D.P.", depicts the story of the soldiers fulfilling their missions in the military. The drama is expected to bring the viewers into tears due to its heavy plot. "Snowdrop" star Jung Hae In will be one of the main leads, alongside actors Kim Sung Kyun, Koo Gyo Hwan, and Son Seok Koo.

"My Name"

Starring actors Han So Hee, Park Hee Sun, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kim Sang Ho, Lee Hak Ju, and Jang Yul, "My Name" will tell the story of a daughter seeking for justice for her father's death. The director of Netflix's "Extracurricular" Kim Jin Min will also be handling "My Name." It is scheduled to air on April 9.

This romantic-comedy Netflix drama teaches you how to love without boundaries, and that love is more than just an application on your phone.

Returning are actors Song Kang, Kim So Hyun, and Jung Ga Ram. The second season of this drama will kick off on March 12.

This special episode of "Kingdom" will center on the story of Ashin. It will have a big impact in the upcoming third season of the lauded sageuk-zombie drama.

This series will center around the high school students who were trapped and seek rescue from the zombie invasion in their school. Actors Young Chan Yoon, Park Ji Hu, Cho Yi Hyun, Yoo In Soo, and Lomon are the main cast members of the drama.

This Korean sitcom will tell the story of the multinational students in Korea, who currently live under one dormitory in Seoul. This will give a new vibe for lots of K-Pop idols who are about to be seen acting onscreen for the first time, such as Minnie of (G)I-DLE and Youngjae of GOT7!

Yoo Ah In will mark his comeback on Netflix with this new exciting series, depicting the story of humans and their religious belief. Joining him in the series are actors Park Jung Min, Won Jin Ah, and Kim Hyun Joo.

This series will tell the story of people who chose to become the players of a mysterious survival game where the winner can get a prize of 40 million dollars.

"Move to Heaven"

A man who has Asperger's Syndrome and his guardian are working as "trauma cleaners"...or those who gather dead people's belongings and, in the process, impart their stories to the loved ones they left behind.

"Night in Paradise"

This movie tells the story of a man targeted by a notorious criminal gang. The director of "New World," "V.I.P," and "The Witch: Part 1" Park Hoon Jung will be helming the blockbuster film.

"Lee Soo Geun: The Sense Coach"

Another comedy show with one of the famous hosts in the Korean entertainment, Lee Su Geun will be having his very own show, "Lee Soo Geun: The Sense Coach," where he will have a creative and live engagement with the audience. This will be his first stand-up special after almost 25 years of being in the industry.
