'Beyond Evil' Short Synopsis
South Korean television series "Beyond Evil" centers its story on two fearless men who will do what it takes, even breaking the law in their pursuit of a serial killer. In their mission of uncovering the killer's identity, the two characters would constantly ask themselves the question, "Who is the monster? Is it you? Is it me? Is it us?"

Shin Ha Kyun portrays the character of Lee Dong Sik, who was a former detective who was demoted and now works at the Manyang Police Substation in a small city. He does all the tedious chores at the station, but his life is peaceful and quiet there.
While working at Manyang village, Lee Dong Sik crosses paths with Han Joo Won, starred by Yeo Jin Goo, an elite detective who harbors a deep secret. He comes from a distinguished background, and his father has a good chance of becoming the next chief at the National Police Agency.

In the previous episode of "Beyond Evil," the viewers were shocked to discover that Kang Jin Mook (played by Lee Gyu Hee) was the real murderer of his own daughter Kang Min Jung (played by Kang Min Ah)! The story keeps getting weirder when Kang Jin Mook even approached Han Joo Won to personally request that he investigate the death of her daughter. In spite of Lee Dong Shik's disagreement, Han Joo Won approved of his request; this made the viewers even more curious about what's going to happen in the upcoming episodes.
The previous episode also left the viewers with an additional twist that stirred up the character's world. This was when: Kang Min Jung's phone surprisingly turned on, and Kang Jin Mook was able to receive a mysterious text from his daughter.

What secret does it hold?

Then the two are spotted standing together in front of the butcher's shop, and at the same time, butcher Yoon Jae Yi (played by Choi Sung Eun) is having a confused look as she looks at something from afar.
