The actress sat down for an interview on March 15 in light of her piano new album "Breath 4." Here, the actress talked about her new album and also revealed her thoughts about marriage.
Ku Hye Sun's Thoughts about Marriage
The actress shared that marriage should be you and your partner could simply tell jokes like you are friends. There should be a sense of comradeship and loyalty.
Ku Hye Sun continued expressing that during struggles, both of you should understand each other and not betray each other. She explained that marriage should allow the couple to live comfortably as they carry out their vows to one another.
Ku Hye Sun has openly talked about marriage since her divorce from ex-husband actor Ahn Jae Hyun back in July 2020.

Ku Hye Sun's Divorce with Actor Ahn Jae Hyun
Back on March 11, 2016, Ku Hye Sun was confirmed to be dating her "Blood" co-star Ahn Jae Hyun. Then, on May 20, 2016, they officially registered their marriage at the Gangnam district office and the next day(May 21), the couple tied the knot. The couple declared that instead of holding a wedding party, they would donate the money to the pediatric ward of Severance Hospital.
The couple participated in the reality show "Newlywed Diary" in which people were given a glimpse of their lives as a married couple.
However, in August 2019, many were shocked when reports were released that Ahn Jae Hyun requested a divorce from Ku Hye Sun. Following this, Ku Hye Sun uploaded an image in her Instagram account that contains the text messages between her and her husband Ahn Jae Hyun discussing divorce.
Ku Hye Sun also posted another image which she captioned explaining that she wanted to save the marriage but her husband did not. However, the said posts were eventually deleted by the actress.
Ku Hye Sun, unfortunately, suffered a backlash from netizens every time she posted negative comments on her ex-spouse.
On September 9, 2019, Ahn Jae Hyun submitted an application for divorce against his wife Ku Hye Sun to the Seoul Family Court. It was then delivered to the actress on September 18, 2019.
In July 2020, Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun were officially divorced. The agreement came out July 15 when the Seoul Family Court held a mediation hearing about the divorce. The two stars were not present during the hearing.
After the decision came out, the couple's legal representative issued a statement commenting, "Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun decided to settle their divorce through mediation on July 15, 2020. Both of them decided to take their own respective paths and they also wished all the best for the future of one another."
