"Crash Landing on You" Musical to be Produced in 2022
According to an official announcement from Pop Music on March 29, the record-breaking and romantic-comedy drama "Crash Landing on You" will be breaking boundaries again as it will be adapted into a musical and is about to meet the audience in 2022.
Pop Music and T2N Media have already completed a global copyright contract with Studio Dragon. The said production companies plan to continue their performances starting in Seoul in the second half of 2022.
"Crash Landing on You '' aired from 2019 to 2020, and the unexpected massive success of the series opened a lot of doors for the Korean entertainment industry. Korean superstars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, who were the main leads in the drama, have been loved and supported by thousands of people worldwide.
CLOY is about a South Korean heiress Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin), who accidentally landed in North Korea while paragliding due to the strong winds and met a man named Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin). Their journey together started the day they met each other by accident.
The love story between these two individuals living in a very different world and having different life perspectives gave the viewers an exciting feeling to watch the series.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's Drama is Based on True Events

It happened in South Korea in the year 2008. Park Ji Eun, the drama's writer, revealed what inspired her to write the series and how she combined all the elements needed to come up with a good script.
