‘Kingdom’ Star Ju Ji Hoon and Han So Hee in Talks to Appear as Lead Stars in Upcoming Movie

Fans might get to see a fresh team-up between Ju Ji Hoon and Han So Hee. 

The "Kingdom" star and the 26-year-old beauty are in talks to star in an upcoming movie "Gentleman."

Ju Ji Hoon's agency H& Entertainment, recently confirmed that he had been offered to star in a new film.

"He's (Ju Ji Hoon) currently in discussions for the film after receiving a casting offer, and the outlook looks favorable." 

Meanwhile, Han So Hee's agency 9ato Entertainment echoed the same and shared that the "Nevertheless" star has been courted to appear in the forthcoming movie. 

"She has received a casting offer and is currently in discussions for the movie."

Interestingly, if the actress accepts the offer, "Gentleman" will be her debut on the big screen.

The upcoming K-movie "Gentleman" is helmed by Kim Kyoung Won, whose famous work includes the 2017 movie "The Artist: Reborn."

Moreover, the crime thriller movie follows the story of a private investigator, played by Ju Ji Hoon, who got caught up in a challenging case. 

He then meets a prosecutor, played by Han So Hee. 

As of now, multiple outlets cited that the movie is in the pre-production stage but targets to start their filming sometime in August.

Aside from the K-movie "Gentleman," Han So Hee and Ju Ji Hoon have a series of upcoming projects slated this year. 

For the 26-year-old actress, she has been creating a buzz online because of her impeccable performance in her current drama "Nevertheless," where she plays the role of a senior art student Yoo Na Bi. 

In the JTBC drama, she stars opposite the South Korean heartthrob Song Kang. 

Interestingly, apart from "Nevertheless", she has back-to-back dramas this 2021. 

She is currently in talks to star in the forthcoming K-drama "Hard Creature" alongside Park Seo Joon. 

According to several outlets, both Han So Hee and the "Itaewon Class" star have been offered the lead parts. 

As for her other drama, the up-and-coming star is confirmed to appear in the new Netflix drama "My Name."

In the crime thriller series, she is set to play the role of Yoon Ji Woo, a member of an organized crime ring and will be working alongside "Kairos" star Ahn Bo Hyun.

Like Han So Hee, the OG Oppa Ju Ji Hoon is also booked and busy this coming year. 

The 39-year-old A-lister recently wrapped up filming his upcoming K-drama "Cliffhanger" alongside Jun Ji Hyun, Sung Dong Il, and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" star Oh Jung Se. 

Apart from this, he also has two upcoming films; this includes the sequel "Along with the Gods" with Ma Dong Seok, Ha Jung Woo, and Kim Hyang Gi. 

Meanwhile, for the forthcoming disaster movie, "Silence," Ju Ji Hoon will be working alongside Lee Sun Kyun, Kim Hee Won, and more.
