SNSD’s Sooyoung Cast to Join Jang Geun Suk in Kakao TV’s ‘Country Diary by Chance’
After her successful drama "So I Married an Anti-Fan," actress and SNSD member Sooyoung is already in talks to star in a new drama project.

On August 2, K-media reports revealed that actress Choi Sooyoung is cast to work with "Love Rain" actor Jang Geun Suk in Kakao TV's forthcoming drama "Country Diary by Chance."
The "Country Diary by Chance" tells the story of a veterinarian who was assigned to a rural village and meets a policewoman officer. And after doing some activities in the said village, the veterinarian gets used to life in the countryside and will find himself being entangled with the policewoman.
Run On Actress Might Play the Role of a Policewoman
SNSD's Sooyoung receives an offer to play as Ahn Ja Young, a policewoman in Heedong Ri Police station. If something happens to someone somewhere, Ahn Ja Young is always on the go to save them. She has a brave soul who is not afraid to try new things in life.
Meanwhile, singer and actor Jang Geun Suk, who is also in discussion to lead the rom-com drama, is expected to play as Han Ji Yul, a handsome veterinarian at a veterinary hospital who will be thrown away in a rural place for a mission.
The script for this drama will be penned by Baek Eun Kyung, and director Cho Young Min of "Do You Like Brahms" is in charge of the directing.
Kakao Entertainment to Produce Country Diary by Chance
Kakao Entertainment is producing the "Country Diary by Chance." However, there are no concrete details yet when the drama is scheduled to broadcast. The final cast lineup and other information about the upcoming drama are yet to be announced to the public once everything is already finalized.

Choi Sooyoung's Previous Projects
Sooyoung is continuously dominating the entertainment industry, for she has been busy working with different projects, from dramas, movies to brand advertisements. Since the SNSD member had her stint in JTBC's "Run On," many were amazed by her acting. Her improvement as an actress is evident from the way she immersed herself in every drama and movie role.

Recently, Sooyoung, along with Choi Tae Joon and 2PM's Chansung, made an excellent and memorable project through the drama "So I Married an Anti-Fan."
On the other hand, if Jang Geun Suk accepts the offer, "Country Diary by Chance" marks his drama comeback after almost three years of hiatus.
