On the late afternoon of August 20, MBC's upcoming spy action drama series "The Veil" (also known as "Black Sun") starring Namgoong Min released its new video teaser featuring the actor's amazing skills as a National Intelligence Service agent.
Actresses Park Ha Sun and Kim Ji Eun also star in the new MBC Friday and Saturday drama.
Namgoong Min Flaunts Excellent Skills as an Elite Special Agent in 'The Veil'
Namgoong Min returns to the small screen with his new spy action drama "The Veil" after appearing in the 2020 action mystery drama "Awaken." He is one of the most established South Korean actors in the television industry, and expectations for his new drama are high.
Namgoong Min, plays the role of field agent Han Ji Hyuk who mysteriously disappeared into the abyss after a special mission, and then returns as a syndicate member as a cover to seek revenge.
In the newly released video teaser, Han Ji Hyuk's piercing gaze wanders as he tries to remember what happened. Han Ji Hyuk lost his memories after he suffered from trauma in his mission a year ago before he disappeared without a trace.

Determined, he tells himself, "You have to be vigilant of every gesture, every word, every breath of everybody around you."
Then Do Jin Suk, played by actor Jang Young Nam, and Seo Soo Yeon, played by Park Ha Sun, coldly ask the agent, "What did you feel while falling into the pit?"
The spine-chilling and shocking question that left a great impact raised concerns and the expectations of the potential viewers.
In spite of that, Han Ji Hyuk is determined to know the truth about his mysterious disappearance.

'The Veil' Production and Further Details
MBC's "The Veil" (also known as "Black Sun") won the 2018 MBC Drama Screenplay Contest by writer Park Seok Ho.
The new drama will be produced by the brilliant mind behind the hit dramas "Children in Prison" and "My Love Healing" director Kim Seong Yong.
