‘The Fiery Priest’ Cast Update 2021: Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, Kim Sung Kyun, and More are Back with New Drama Projects
It's been two years since the ever-comic and notable series in the K-dramaland, "The Fiery Priest" aired. Many of you are already missing its cast. No doubt it also has one of the best squads that the fans enjoyed watching.
2019 SBS' record-breaking series "The Fiery Priest" has been attracting new fans since there are rumors that it will have its second season soon. As to what it says on its finale episode "We Will Be Back," K-drama enthusiasts will be the happiest when the production finally confirms it.
But in the meantime, let's take a look at "The Fiery Priest" cast as to what keeps them busy today and what upcoming projects they have in store for their fans.
Kim Nam Gil
Actor Kim Nam Gil who perfectly portrayed the role of Kim Hae Il in "The Fiery Priest" is about to make a back to back drama return with "Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" and "Island."
SBS's action-mystery series "Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" is expected to air sometime in November of 2021. This will be his first acting role after three years. Meanwhile, he also confirmed his participation in OCN's upcoming drama "Island" where Cha Eun Woo and actress Lee Da Hee are still considering the role offers.
In addition, in February of this year, Kim Nam Gil also established his own agency Gilstory Ent.

Honey Lee
Lee Ha Nee, popularly known as Honey Lee is ready to conquer the SBS primetime this coming September 17 with "One The Woman." She is back on the small screen and will be playing the role of a prosecutor.

Aside from her drama, Honey Lee is also expected to appear in two major movies namely "Alien" and "Phantom." There is no confirmed date yet for the release of these films but both projects consist of a star-studded cast. Be sure to keep yourself updated!

Kim Sung Kyun
His new action series "D.P." is continuously receiving lots of attention from the international audience. He played the role of Sergeant Park Beom Gu. Netflix's original series "D.P." is actor Kim Sung Kyun's first drama project following "The Fiery Priest" in 2019.
He also starred in the box office disaster-comedy film "Sinkhole" along with Lee Kwang Soo and Cha Seung Won.
Kim Sung Kyun is also confirmed to star in two forthcoming movies the "Hansan" and the "Seoul Vibe."

Keum Sae Rok
Right after "The Fiery Priest" ended, actress Keum Sae Rok landed two drama projects, "The Class of Lies" and "Joseon Exorcist." Unfortunately the SBS series "Joseon Exorcist'' has been cancelled due to controversies.
But she came back with a new melodrama last May with "Youth of May" alongside actors Lee Do Hyun, Go Min Si, and Lee Sang Yi.
She is also active on her Instagram and shared some updates about her life on and off the lens.
Eum Moon Suk
One of the actors that made the viewers laugh during the broadcast of "The Fiery Priest." Rapper-actor Eum Moon Sok is indeed a talented individual, for he can sing, dance, and act flawlessly.
His iconic role as Jang Ryong a.k.a Long Dragon became a hit and he was lauded for his strong acting performance in the drama. Eum Moon Suk starred in SBS' "Backstreet Rookie" in 2020 where he again showed his comedic side along with actor Ji Chang Wook.
This year, he appeared in KBS' "Hello, Me!." If he is not doing movie or drama projects, Eum Moon Suk is busy making music.
