Confirmed! ‘Mine’ Star Cha Hak Yeon to Join Lee Dong Wook in tvN’s Mystery Drama ‘Bad and Crazy’

Cha Hak Yeon to Play the Role of a Police Officer in 'Bad and Crazy'
After actors Lee Dong Wook and Han Ji Eun confirmed their participation in the upcoming mystery-thriller series "Bad and Crazy," another actor has been added to the cast lineup. It was actor Cha Hak Yeon, who just finished his drama "Mine."
On September 9, various K-media outlets reported that the idol-actor will officially join the new tvN drama. Cha Hak Yeon takes the role of Oh Kyung Tae, a police officer at the Sohyang Police Station. He is the youngest among his teammates in the district.
In addition to his character, Oh Kyung Tae is a friendly and warm-hearted person who is always ready to offer a helping hand to anyone at any time. His pure soul and sincerity are what makes him stand out. But even though he is kind-hearted, his eagerness to punish the criminals is on a different level. He is strict and determined to catch the bad guys.
Cha Hak Yeon's new role is already giving the future viewers expectations from him on to what kind of new side of him is about to be shown in the drama.
The "Mine" star shared his thoughts upon reading the script. According to him, " 'Bad and Crazy's' script was interesting and I easily fell in love with the story without even noticing it. I was impressed by Oh Kyung Tae's character who does his best to protect the people around him."
Meanwhile, tvN's "Bad and Crazy" is already confirmed to premiere in December.
