The production company of the film "Sad Tropical" released an announcement confirming the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" actor's casting in the film.

Rumors and speculations spread that he was pulled out from the film after his involvement in a drama with his ex-girlfriend, however, his casting remains untouched.

SALT Entertainment, Kim Seon Ho's company, said, "After a thorough deliberation, the producers of "Sad Tropical" have decided to film the movie this year with actor Kim Seon Ho."

It was reported that she was cherry-picked by the movie's production company. However, no official announcements have been made yet.

On the other hand, Park Hoon Jung, "Sad Tropical" director, produced the box office thriller movie "The Witch: The Subversion" and the crime film "Night in Paradise."
