"House on Wheels 3" cast and guests Rain and singer Uee spoke about Gong Myung's enlistment.

On November 9, his agency, Saram Entertainment, announced the enlistment date, confirming that he would start as an active-duty soldier on December 14. Unfortunately, the "location and time of his enlistment will be carried out in private" to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Gong Myung's agency also asked the fans for their "warm support" for the actor and his return after completing the mandatory military service.

With only days before his d-day, the cast and guests of the variety show share their thoughts about the "Lovers of the Red Sky" star's enlistment.

Rain Recalls his Military Experience + Tease Gong Myung About his Enlistment

For the latest episode of "House on Wheels 3," the group with "The Ghost Doctor" star and Uee went on a healing trip in Nae-Myeon, Hongcheon-gun in Gangwon-do.

In one of the scenes, Rain discusses to Gong Myung his military experience and recalls how the Autumn season reminds him of the time he joined the army.

"I joined the army in the fall of October," he said, teasing the 27-year-old actor about the challenges he will have to face when he enters the military, especially with the harsh weather conditions.

"House on Wheels" host Kim Hee Won joined the conversation and mentioned his experience, too, saying that he felt extremely cold to a point where the freezing weather can be felt upon his bones.

Moreover, the group joked about Gong Myung's enlistment lasting up to 15 years, making the whole room laugh.

The enlistments jokes did not stop there as veteran actor and "House on Wheels 3" regular mainstay Sung Dong Il explained the inside joke about soldiers building their own coffee shops once they got out of the military.

"They said they opened a coffee shop after being discharged from the military," he said, while Uee chimed in and said, "Then, around 2024?" to which Gong Myung replied that he might get out in 20203.

Gong Myung is among a few Kdrama actors who are set to enlist in the military this 2021.

In November, Seo Kang Joon joined the army as an active-duty soldier as well as Jang Ki Yong, last August 23, right after he finished filming the series "Now, We Are Breaking Up" with Hallyu star Song Hye Kyo.

Gong Myung Activities Before Enlistment

Prior to his enlistment, the 27-year-old actor wrapped up his last Kdrama "Lovers of the Red Sky" alongside Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop.

He mesmerized the viewers with his stunning visuals and acting prowess as he took on the second lead role of Prince Yang Myung.
