Lee Seung Gi Tests Positive for COVID-19
Lee Seung Gi tested positive for COVID-19 and his management announced the news on February 15.
Hook Entertainment reported that the "Mouse" actor had temporarily halted all his filming activities after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
An official representative from the agency stated that on the same day before they made an announcement, Lee Seung Gi used a self-test kit before his scheduled advertisement shoot.
The official added that as the "Vagabond" star found out that his result was positive, he immediately postponed all scheduled activities and underwent PCR testing where he also tested positive.
Lee Seung Gi's management confirmed that the actor already received three doses of vaccine before he came out positive.
Furthermore, Hook Entertainment added that the K-drama star is currently in quarantine and continues to follow the guidelines of government health authorities.

Moments after the management's announcement, Lee Seung Gi made an update on his Instagram and shared his current health condition to the public, particularly to his fans, Airens (Lee Seung Gi fans).

The "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho" star first posted a screenshot of a published article about him being positive, and wrote a caption that says "How did an article get published this fast?"

Meanwhile, he doesn't want to make his fans worry too much about him. That's why Lee Seung Gi reassured them by posting a childhood photo of him along with a letter.
"Many people have been worrying and sending their messages to me - I just have ordinary cold-like symptoms, so please don't worry too much. I'll recover quickly and greet you again in good health! Thank you to all of you who have been worrying about me."
On the other hand, earlier in January 2022, Lee Seung Gi was confirmed to lead the new legal-romance drama "Love According to the Law," also known as "Love by Law." According to his agency, it is one of the projects he is positively considering.
"The Red Sleeve Cuff" actress Lee Se Young also received an offer to join Lee Seung Gi in the series. If she accepts the work, it will be a reunion project for them, following "A Korean Odyssey" in 2018.
