‘All of Us Are Dead’ Star Yoon Chan Young Halts Filming for 'Knowing Bros' – Here’s Why

JTBC's "Knowing Brothers" had to cancel their production entirely due to the "All of Us Are Dead" star Yoon Chan Young. 

It came after the 20-year-old actor tested positive for COVID-19. 

Yoon Chang Young Shows No Major Symptoms Despite COVID-19 Diagnosis

According to media outlets, Yoon Chan Young's agency, Snowball Entertainment, confirmed that the actor was diagnosed with the virus despite receiving "two doses of the vaccine."

Although he is showing no signs of symptoms, the rising star is still in isolation and "will adhere to the quarantine guidelines of government health authorities."

Yoon Chan Young's COVID-19 diagnosis started when the actor tested positive on a self-test kit ahead of his shoot for "Knowing Bros."

He also got a PCR which shows the same result, prompting his agency to immediately cancel all his activities, including his appearance in the JTBC variety show.

On February 14, E Daily reported that the "All of Us Are Dead" cast confirmed to appear in their first-ever variety show guestings. 

Joining Yoon Chan Young are his co-stars Park Ji Hoo, Ha Seung Ri, Lim Jae Hyuk, and Lee Eum Saem and are expected to broadcast their episode this coming March. 

K-Drama Stars Who Tested Positive for COVID-19

Prior to his supposedly guesting in "Knowing Bros," the 20-year-old star filmed an upcoming episode for "The Sixth Sense 3"; unfortunately, main hosts Lee Sang Yeob, Jessi, Mijoo and the show's PD all tested positive from the virus. 

According to reports, over 140 South Korean celebrities, mostly K-pop stars, have tested positive for the virus since the year started; this includes TXT's Yeonjun and BTS' V. 

As for the actors, award-winning stars Lee Seung Gi and Lee Byung Hun were also diagnosed with COVID-19 but have now fully recovered. 

On February 24, three celebrities were also confirmed to acquire the said virus.

Apart from the "All of Us Are Dead" star, Park Seo Joon, Shin Hye Sun and "Love and Leashes," actor Lee Jun Young tested positive despite completing the vaccines and having booster shots. 

According to their respective agencies, they showed no signs of symptoms and are currently in quarantine. 

Like Yoon Chan Young, the trio halted their upcoming activities, including Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Young's production for their new movie "Brave Citizen."

The 20-year-old actor is gaining popularity after landing the role of Lee Cheon Sang in "All of Us Are Dead."

After the Netflix K-zombie series, he is set to return to the small screen with a teenage noir drama "Juvenile Delinquency" opposite Won Ji An and Yoon Hyun Soo. 

He took on the role of Gong Yoon Tak, who will be Yoon Hyun Soo's older brother.
