Lee Jong Suk Donates To Help Victims of Forest Fires

Multiple media outlets reported that Lee Jong Suk donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (HBNDRA). The funds will be used to help the affected families and residents by the forest fires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk and Samcheok, Gangwon.

Lee Jong Suk's kind gesture made it to headlines after the HBNDRA announced on March 7 that the actor gave a generous donation to support the wildfire damage and to use the money for emergency relief.

In addition to the source, the "Pinocchio" star felt sorry for the fire spreading to the east coast and a number of houses burning down.

The representative from the said organization added that the actor's donation will be used for temporary housing facilities.

Lee Jong Suk is not the only Korean star who reached out to help the forest fire victims. Lee Je Hoon, Kim Go Eun, IU, Lee Byung Hun, Lee Seung Yoon, Song Kang Ho, and many more celebrities participated in the donation.

As he is about to return to the small screen, Lee Jong Suk is ready to dominate primetime again with his upcoming legal series "Big Mouse" also known as "Big Mouth."

In the past reports, the drama is said to air on Netflix. But on March 3, it was announced by Disney+ that they already bought the rights to "Big Mouse." Meaning, the romance-legal series can be streamed on the said platform and on tvN.

Meanwhile, fans spotted Lee Jong Suk filming "Big Mouse" in South Korea. The photos taken spread like wildfire online. Though there is no confirmed date yet, the drama is expected to meet the viewers this 2022.

"Big Mouse" will be helmed by director Oh Choong Hwan who was also behind some of the megahit K-dramas, such as "Start-Up," "Hotel Del Luna," "While You Were Sleeping," "Doctors," "My Love From the Star," and more. The script will be penned by writer Ha Ram.
