While Apple TV+'s "Pachinko" dominated OTT rankings and gained positive responses from critics and viewers, some compared Lee Min Ho's communication skills to his co-star Kim Min Ha.

Promoting the novel-based series, the lead stars graced various interviews, one of which was with the entertainment outlet Popternative.

As the South Korean stars shared their thoughts and experience filming the much-awaited series, viewers were impressed with how the rookie actress carried herself during the interview.

The 26-year-old star was able to converse in English fluently and confidently.

Moreover, there's no doubt that she was comfortable doing casual chats as if it was her native language.

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho struggled to communicate in English. At some point, the Hallyu star sought assistance from the interpreter to help him express himself better.

Unfortunately, it made some viewers uncomfortable just by seeing the actor had a hard time answering in English.

In addition, others also noted that the award-winning star needs to improve his knowledge of foreign languages.

The interview gets mixed reactions from viewers. While some slammed "The Legend of the Blue Sea" star, others expressed their support by defending Lee Min Ho.

Fans were furious why some dragged the actor for no reason, while others pointed out that it was not a big deal.

With this, his supporters took to social media and justified why the award-winning star struggled to communicate.

As cited by an outlet, fans pointed out that it is okay for Lee Min Ho not to be fluent in English because he was born in South Korea, and it's not his native language.

Moreover, the majority of the fans mentioned that despite his poor pronunciation, it is evident that the actor is very talented and could portray any role he prefers. They noted that his "acting is phenomenal."

On the other hand, one Twitter user said that seeing Lee Min Ho being bashed for his interview is quite saddening.

"Pachinko" is Lee Min Ho's return to the small screen after landing the lead role in "The King: Eternal Monarch" with Kim Go Eun in 2020.

After his debut in 2002, he was able to make a name for himself after his breakthrough performance in "Boys Over Flowers," portraying the role of Gu Jun Pyo.

Interestingly, being a K-drama royalty, Lee Min Ho had to audition for the first time in 13 years for the role of Ko Hansu in Apple TV+'s "Pachinko."
