According to an outlet, Xsports News exclusively reported an interview with Lee Ga Ryeong as she talked about her experience filming the drama and thought about wrapping up the third season.
Why Did Lee Ga Ryeong Downplay Her Real Age?
Based on her profile, the actress was born on October 2, 1988, making her 33-year-old as of this writing.
Surprisingly, she revealed that she was actually born in 1980. With this, Lee Ga Ryeong's real age is actually 42 this 2022.
The actress revealed why she hid her actual age and lied about her birth year.
According to the outlet, the model turned actress didn't have an agency until recently. Hence, she couldn't adjust her profile since she was working as a freelancer.

Currently, she is signed under IOK Company, which is the home of some of the big names in Kdrama. It includes Jo In Sung, Shin Hye Sun, Go Hyun Jung, former iKON member B.I, Moon Chae Won, and "Kill Heel's" Kim Ha Neul.
It was only on March 25, 2022, when she signed under the talent label.
At the time, IOK Company formally announced that the "Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)" star had officially signed an exclusive contract with the company.
In a statement, as noted by a local outlet, "Lee Ga Ryung has become a member of our family," adding, "We will be unsparing in our full support of Lee Ga Ryung so that she can shine in a wider array of projects as an actress."
Lee Ga Ryeong's 'Love (Ft. Marriage and Divorce)'
The actress made a debut in 2012 after landing the role in SBS drama "A Gentleman's Dignity."
However, her claim to fame in K-drama is the hit trilogy of "Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)," where she took the role of 30-something Boo Hye Ryung.
In the drama, she used to work as an announcer and currently works as a radio DJ. Boo Hye Ryoung is married to Pan Sa Hyun, played by Kang Shin Hyo. Despite having a stable career and her husband working as a judge, they didn't want to have children just yet.
Unfortunately, this choice causes friction between the couple.
In 2021, ahead of the premiere of "Love (Ft. Marriage and Divorce)" season 1, Lee Ga Ryeong said that she was "happy to live for a while as the smoky-eyed Boo Hye Ryung."
For three seasons, she reprised her role and delivered a stellar performance as the fearless wife.
