During the 92nd Academy Awards, the film bagged four major awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film.

'Parasite' To Release Two Sequels in the Future
In a podcast with director Bong Joon Ho, the 51-year-old revealed that the fan-favorite award-winning film will have two follow-up films!
According to the director, the sequels will have one South Korean film whilst the other will be penned in English.

Choi Woo Shik couples up with idol-actress Suzy in the upcoming film where they tell the story of the virtual world that simulates a place for people to reunite with the person they wish to see once more through artificial intelligence.
Originally, it was slated to air in 2021 but due to the pandemic, it was later pulled from broadcast. It will now be released on Netflix in the later half of 2022.
