Lee Joon Gi is currently filming the second installment of the upcoming fantasy series "Arthdal Chronicles." After the cast was finalized, the team immediately began production intending to release the drama in the first half of 2023.
While the actor is busy with taping, he was surprised when his previous co-star sent him a coffee truck to the drama's filming location.
Recently, the "My Girl" actor made an Instagram update and uploaded snippets of the present he received.

It was then revealed that it was IU, his former on-screen partner and real-life friend, who sent the coffee truck.
In his post, he thanked the singer-actress for the surprise gift, which cheered him up, as Lee Joon Gi admitted in his caption. The staff also enjoyed the food and coffee that IU prepared.

Update on 'Arthdal Chronicles' Season 2
On the other hand, Lee Joon Gi will play the character of Eun Seom in "Arthdal Chronicles" Season 2. The drama production already released pieces of stills introducing the actor's role. He will work with Shin Se Kyung, Jang Dong Gun, and Kim Ok Vin.
The script is penned by Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon, who are also the talents who wrote Season 1. "3pm Paradise" and "Off Road" director Kim Kwang Sik is helming the drama.
Meanwhile, the visual creator and graphic effects who worked in "Alchemy of Souls" and "Vincenzo" are expected to join forces to produce high-quality content for "Arthdal Chronicles 2."
