Jo Han Chul Says ‘Reborn Rich’ Delivers ‘Right Ending’ – Here’s Why

Jo Han Chul defends the "Reborn Rich" ending after viewers expressed their disappointment through various online communities and social media.

During his interview with Wikitree, the versatile star spoke about his experience filming the series and working alongside Song Joong Ki for the second time.

In addition, the actor also gave his thoughts about the drama's ending following feedback given by viewers.

Jo Han Chul Satisfied With 'Reborn Rich' Ending

As Jo Han Chul expressed his thoughts about the drama, the actor was asked if he is happy with how the screenwriter penned the ending.

For him, he says that "most endings often develop in the wrong direction" however, he pointed out that the writer maintains the plot's original story.

"I think it's fortunate that we can maintain the ending without straying away from the writer's original thought and original intention for the drama's plot," he said.

"Reborn Rich" is one of the 2022 K-dramas with adaptation. It is based on the web novel "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate."

Due to the web novel's popularity, viewers looked forward to how JTBC will be able to deliver the story along with the roster of the talented cast.

Interestingly, the revenge series didn't fail to showcase show-stopping performance, keeping fans hooked with every episode.

However, the "Reborn Rich" ending seemed to disappoint viewers, especially when it was revealed that it was all about the reflection of Yoon Hwa Young as Soonyang founder's grandson Jin Do Joon.

Ji Han Chul also pointed out the massive popularity of the drama and how viewers predict the ending based on their observations.

"Because the drama is so hyped, many people will talk about the ending they want based on their own observation of facts and the characters," he said and later on explained "Reborn Rich" as a whole story.

"But if you look at the drama as a whole and see the ending, later on, I think you will realize it's the right ending," he added.

In the drama, Jo Han Chul took the role of Jin Yang Chul's (Lee Sung Min) second-born son, Jin Dong Ki.

He envies his older brother, Jin Young Ki who is set to become the Chairman of Soonuyang as well as his nephew, Jin Do Joon who has what it takes to become their father's successor.

Once again, viewers witness Jo Han Chul's versatility, playing one of the antagonists in "Reborn Rich."

The JTBC series is also his reunion project with Song Joong Ki.

To recall, he also appeared in 2021 hit K-drama "Vincenzo" led by the Hallyu star.

During the drama's production, Song Joong Ki shared their closeness on social media with a candid photo with Jo Han Chul.
