On February 9, Lee Da In's sister, posted a series of photos, hinting at a special celebration.

Lee Yoo Bi's Instagram shows two teddy bear cakes with candles along with a congratulatory greeting sparking speculations that she is present during the engagement.

In addition, one photo showcased a symbol with two Ls suggesting Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In's names.

Although she didn't include captions, netizens think that the celebration was during the couple's engagement announcement.

To recall, Lee Seung Gi surprised fans after he officially announced his wedding plans with Lee Da In. The "Vagabond" star took to Instagram a bombshell news regarding his relationship with the actress.

In a short yet sweet handwritten letter, the actor said that his announcement is the "most important decision" of his life and that is spending the rest of his life with Lee Da In.

Moreover, Lee Seung Gi also revealed his wedding date which is set for this April.

"I proposed, and she accepted. We are holding our wedding on April 7," his post reads.

Moreover, he concluded the message by saying that he wanted to experience happiness together and is ready to face difficult times with his soon-to-be wife.

"I want to share our happiness together, and even if there are difficult times in life, I want to overcome those difficulties together without letting go of each other's hands," he said.

On the same day, Lee Da In's agency also responded to the actor's announcement, describing Lee Seung Gi "as a reliable companion."

In addition, the label also shared that the upcoming ceremony "will be held privately with relatives and close acquaintances from both families" and asked fans and the public for "warm blessings and encouragement for the couple's future."

Following the wedding announcement, media outlets reported that the ceremony will be held at the luxurious Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The couple publicly confirmed their relationship after Dispatch revealed photos of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In on a date.

It was revealed that they started dating in 2021 after sharing a common interest in golf.
