Welcoming the year with a bang, Lee Seung Gi surprised his followers when he took to social media with a bombshell announcement regarding his engagement with his girlfriend Lee Da In.
On Lee Seung Gi's Instagram he shared a handwritten letter along with sweet words describing the "Alice" star.
In a short yet heartwarming message, he considered it the "most important decision" of his life, adding that he wanted to "spend the remainder" of my his with Lee Da In.
"Whom I love, not just as a couple but as a married couple," he said.
Moreover, the "Vagabond" star announced that the upcoming wedding is set on April 7.
As for Lee da In's agency, 9ato Entertainment, they confirmed that the wedding will be held at the luxurious Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul.
As for Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In's wedding guests, the ceremony will be attended by "relatives and close acquaintances from both families."
On the other hand, a few weeks after the wedding announcement, Lee Seung Gi revealed that they have started working on the preparations.
In addition, he also revealed that he is "planning on doing his best as a "husband as well as a celebrity."
Besides getting married, Lee Seung Gi will also be focusing on his music.
