YoonA Reveals Reasons for Choosing 'King the Land' as Her Drama Comeback

In a media interview, the SNSD member brought her fans closer to her upcoming screen character.

In her forthcoming series "King the Land," YoonA takes the role of Cheon Sa Rang, a kind-hearted and cheerful hotelier at the King Hotel.

The actress' unique fresh and bright energy tells a fantastic synergy with her new character. Since it will premiere in a few weeks, people are curious as to why she chose "King the Land" as her next project.

The idol-actress revealed that she considered things before deciding on what kind of work she wanted after "Big Mouth." According to YoonA:

"I usually like rom-coms, and the last series I did was a noir genre, so I thought about what it would be like to do a slightly brighter and more pleasant work."

"The K2" star also added that she chose "King the Land" because she remembered that people like it when she plays a character with an active and bright personality.

Adding to the charm of her role is the fact that Cheon Sa Rang works in the VVIP lounge, which is completely new for the celebrity.

"For Cheon Sa Rang, King Hotel is a place with happy memories. As a hotelier, when she had to work or laugh, she acted while continuing to think of the sincere heart and meaning of love thinking of the King Hotel."

She went on:

"Cheon Sa Rang is a friend who is good at work and has a sense of responsibility and mission, so I tried to show those sides well."

The fans are also looking forward to the highly-anticipated chemistry of YoonA and Lee Junho.
