Park Seo Joon’s ‘Concrete Utopia’ Sold to 152 Countries Ahead of Release
Disaster movie "Concrete Utopia," starring Park Seo Joon, is ready to conquer a high volume of moviegoers as it receives huge anticipation from viewers.
'Concrete Utopia' Shows Global Popularity After Being Sold to 152 Countries Before Release
Ahead of its release in August, the disaster film "Concrete Utopia," which stars Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young, has been sold to 152 countries.
According to news on June 13, the movie's distributor, Lotte Entertainment, announced that "Concrete Utopia" was sold not only in Asia, including Japan and India, but also in Europe, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
Lotte Entertainment explained in their statement that the participation of more than a hundred countries reflects the interest of foreign theaters in the forthcoming movie.

The disaster film tells the journey of what happens when a group of survivors gathers at the Hwang Goong apartment, the only establishment that remains safe in the earthquake that occurred in Seoul.
It will be helmed by director Eom Tae Hwa and is scheduled to be released in cinemas starting this August.
Lotte Entertainment Drops 'Concrete Utopia' Teasers
Last June 2, the production team officially dropped the "Concrete Utopia" video teaser. The cast gave a highlight of what to anticipate from the film.
For the first time, after the cast was confirmed, Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Young, and Lee Byung Hun introduced their characters in the newly-released teaser.
At the beginning of the video, Young Tak (Lee Byung Hun) speaks, "I felt that Hwang Goong apartment was chosen." As the clip continued, the three main leads shed new light amidst the earthquake disaster in Seoul.
Apart from the video, Lotte Entertainment also provided a poster with a caption that reads, "Everything collapsed except our apartment."
From the poster to the teaser video, interest from the viewers spark as they get curious about the journeys and stories of the survivors.
With its genre and star-studded cast, the movie immediately attracted consumers not just in Asia but also in Europe and America.
Park Seo Joon's Back-to-Back Silver Screen Appearance
"Concrete Utopia" will be Park Seo Joon's comeback movie following "Dream." This also marks his first screen collaboration with actors Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young.
Apart from this, the heartthrob is expected to meet the international audience again in November as he makes his Hollywood debut through the American movie "The Marvels."
