Kim Min Jae Cancels Fan Meet 2 Days Before the Event – Here’s What Happened
Kim Min Jae announced changes for his upcoming fan meet. Dubbed as "Telepathy," this is the actor's first-ever fan meet since he made his debut nine years ago.
The actor's agency, Nyam Nyam Entertainment, released a statement regarding the cancellation of the actor's meet and greet at Dongduk Women's University.
Kim Min Jae's Agency Reveals Reason Behind the Cancellation of Fan Meet
As obtained by a media outlet, the actor and his label have decided to make last minute changes after a tragic incident happened at the university.
In a statement, Nyam Nyam Entertainment said that they opted to halt the fan meet "due to the recent accident that took place near the venue, we have determined that it will be difficult to proceed normally."
Moreover, the unavoidable decision to cancel it was also a way to express their "deep mourning in regards to the accident."
It was after a college student was run over by a garbage truck while inside the campus on June 5 and passed away a few days later in the hospital.
Due to this, students of Dongduk Women's University have been protesting as they express their concerns regarding safety while inside the campus.
Due to the postponed event, the agency apologized and also asked the public, especially the fans, for "generous understanding."
To recall, Nyam Nyam Entertainment announced that Kim Min Jae's fan meet will be held at Dongduk Women's University's Centennial Memorial Hall on June 17.

Since the label opted to postpone the event, the agency mentioned that they would announce the rescheduled fan meeting.
On the other hand, Kim Min Jae currently stars in the hit K-drama "Doctor Romantic 3."
Will Park Eun Tak End Up with Yoon Ah Reum?
With only two episodes left, things get intense at Doldam and Trauma Center.
"Dr. Romantic 3," which stars Han Suk Kyu as the legendary surgeon Kim Sa Bu, has invited his former apprentice, Kang Dong Joo, as the interim head of the Trauma Center, replacing Cha Eun Jae's father, Dr. Cha Jin Man.
However, it seemed like Dr. Kang was implementing harsh orders that Cha Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyung) and Seo Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop) couldn't grasp, causing them to go against the new head.
Due to this, Kim Sa Bu reminded Dr. Kang of his purpose and mission as a doctor.
As for Park Eun Tak, played by Kim Min Jae, he is having a lover's quarrel with Dr. Yoon after the building collapse incident. It was after Eun Tak made Yoon Ah Reum feel that she was unimportant to him.
On the other hand, rookie doctor Jang Dong Hwa, played by Lee Shin Young, is helping Eun Tak patch things up between them.
Unfortunately, the situation won't let it happen because of how busy the Doldam and Trauma Center is.
"Dr. Romantic 3" episode 15 is set to air on June 16 via SBS and Disney +.
