Kim Min Jae Reveals the K-Drama He Wants to Be Part of After Enlistment
Kim Min Jae talked about his upcoming enlistment after wrapping up his K-drama "Dr. Romantic 3."
The actor, who has been playing the role of nurse Par Eun Tak since season 1, also spoke about his affection for the series.

During his interview, the actor recalled the experience he had while filming the SBS series, as well as his working relationship with his co-stars, especially Han Suk Kyu.
Along with Kim Min Jae, who is also part of the original cast of the medical K-drama, is the award-winning actor Han Suk Kyu, who plays the role of legendary doctor Kim Sa Bu.
For the 26-year-old actor, it's an honor to work alongside such a renowned star.
Moreover, he also described Han Suk Kyu as one of "the best," adding that he is "a really good senior and a really cool adult." He added that being in the same K-drama as Han Suk Kyu "is so touching and honorable."
As mentioned, Kim Min Jae and Han Suk Kyu are among the original cast members of "Dr. Romantic," which first aired in 2016.
Along with them are Jin Kyung as head nurse Oh Myung Shim, Byun Woo Min as anesthesiologist Nam Do Il, who is also a colleague of Kim Sa Bu from his former hospital, Yoon Na Moo as emergency doctor Jung In Soo, and more.

As the actors said goodbye to the drama's third season, viewers speculate that Doldam and Kim Sa Bu will return with a sequel. It was after Seo Hyun Jin's character made a cameo during the "Dr. Romantic 3" ending.
However, SBS officials are yet to confirm if the medical K-drama will have a sequel, but Kim Min Jae expressed his desire to join the fourth installment if given a chance.
With this, the actor said that he wants "Dr. Romantic" season 4 to be among his first projects after completing his military service, and wishes to return to Doldam along with fellow cast members.

Speaking of enlistment, the news was accidentally revealed by Han Suk Kyu during the press conference of "Dr. Romantic 3."
When asked about it, the actor expressed his honest thoughts about his co-star breaking the news to the public in an unexpected way.

Ahead of the pilot episode of "Dr. Romantic 3," Kim Min Jae made headlines after his co-star revealed his plans for enlistment.
At the time, the actor was stunned upon hearing Han Suk Kyu's revelation and even looked at his manager with a surprised reaction.
However, Kim Min Jae said that the incident was "rather pleasant."
As mentioned by a news portal, Kim Min Jae said that he "was the most surprised" upon hearing it. He then explained that he "felt grateful and fortunate" that it was his co-star who revealed it.
"I was thinking a lot about how to tell you about joining the military," he said, adding, "Rather, it was rather pleasant that senior Han Suk Kyu talked about it."
At the time, he revealed that the veteran actor apologized to him for breaking the news to the public; however, he felt grateful to the seniors whom he loves so much.
